Grants and awards

We will grant 600 euro EPC travel awards for those who submit an abstract to EPC 2010. The criteria to increase the likelihood to receive a travel award, subject to review by the respective committee, are quality of the abstract, young investigator and residence in a developing country. All decisions are final and cannot be rebutted.

There will also be several awards of the EPC to the best poster, both in the basic and clinical sciences.

As a special feature, we are able to award two prizes from the Hirshberg Foundation to the best overall submission in pancreatic cancer research, in both categories, clinical and basic science. Agi Hirshberg will attend EPC 201 and hand over the awards personally.

We will recognize two senior pancreatologists with lifetime award of the EPC.

All awards will be handed over during the Swedish midsummer feast in the Stockholm Archipelago.
