GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

  1. Only original work, not published as a full paper, can be submitted.
  2. The abstract must be submitted electronically via our webiste www.epc2010.se.
  3. Deadline for submission is 29 march, 2010. You may review your abstract at any time until the deadline or until you submit it.
  4. Please do not submit an abstract if you do not intend to present it at the congress.
  5. All accepted abstracts will be assigned to either an oral, oral poster or poster presentation at the discretion of the Organizing Committtee after taking into consideration your presentation preference and the reviews of the Abstract Selection Committee.
  6. The Congress Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject abstracts that do not meet scientific criteria.
  7. The Abstract Selection Committee will review all abstracts. The reviewing is confidential and the decision is final.
  8. When submitting an abstract, all authors agree that the paper abstract can be posted at the congress and the congress website, printed in the abstract book and/or saved on a CD Rom distributed to the participants.
  9. The presenting author will recive an email by 9 April 2010 regarding the abstract acceptance, schedule and presentation form.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you have been accepted for an oral poster or poster presentation of the abstract, the poster should be prepared in Microsoft Powerpoint format and emailed to the organizing committee. You do not need to print your poster and bring it to the congress. The posters will be exposed on computerscreens at the Congress.

TO SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT
Please prepare the following information:

Abstract title
Authors names and adresses (degrees and titles are not required)

Text of abstract
The abstract needs to be structured in the following way: introduction, objectives, methods, results and conclusion.

The abstract lenght should not exceed 250 words (excluding the title, authors, and institutions).

Abbreviations may be used if they are defined at first usage.

Please check your abstract for spelling, grammatical or scientific errors, as it will be reproduced exactly as submitted
